Roger Ebert's thoughts on CGI and Photography

This article describes a feeling that a lot of filmmakers know too well. The constant, visceral bombardment of computer generated effects, overlays, and polishing that takes you “out” of the film. I prefer the pacing and composition that took place in the 70s and 80s and will always TRY to use that in my work. Keyword there is “try”.
